I have stalker clear sky version 1157 if i upgrade 11510 will it corrupt my save

Simple question, when i first upgraded it wrecked my savegames, if i upgrade from 1.5.07 to 1.5.10 will it happen again?

i upgraded the witch to EE and played my saved games well.upgrade is not a problem i think,because obviously they have to make the new version compatable with the previous.downgrade is the problem,because later versions have additional stuff that the previous ones cant understand and you will face crashes,freezes....etc just my thought tho,althouhg it does make since

you know people said that patching the game wrecked savegames back then.... this doesnt have to do with games in general just a minor effect stalker clear sky had when patched, thats why am asking should i patch it, or it will wreck my savegames again?
