hey was wondering im going to invest in a new laptop in about two weeks so i said to myself why not buy a laptop that will also run my favorite game ever HL and all of its counterparts. I want a premade laptop that can run HL2 and the episodes as smooth as they do on the 360.thanks in advance guys oh if you can please leave a link.
the source engine, even Ep 2, isn't that heavy on the hardware. you may be able to get full performance out of that 8600. i got a solid, playable frame rate on my 7600gts and according to Gpureview, they are pretty even in stats except yours does dx10 and source doesn't have dx10 available.
dell have some great dell with their xps laptop range. core 2 duo 2gb ram 8600gt and sound blaster audigy hd for less than many other laptops cost with slower cpus and 8400gs and 1gb ram
