I keep getting KICKED from BFBC2! 5 Minutes in ! Why?!

So i keep getting kicked on bfbc2 at the same time in every game i join and i dont know why. Could someone help? i dont understand whats going on. Im playing on steam, This never happened inthe beta. Help!

Is it a PB issue? Try going to evenbalance.com and updating it. Happened to a friend of mine.. but I was ok without the update.

Yeah it really does sound like punk busters, this sort of thing used to happen to me all the time in CoD4.

Idk. I dont think its Punkbusters. It never said that punkbusters kicked me.

When I boot up games that run PB , including CoD4 when I use to play that, getting kicked every 5 minutes was usually a result of PB. You actually have to manually update it now these days, bit annoying I guess. Try it and it may fix your problems. Does for me.

Wierd, I havn tbeen kicked in about 2 hours of online games for BC2.

For COD:WAW I had to update Punkbuster manually to get it to work (got kicked every few mins before I updated it).

I think that the server that tracks ranks and unlocks is just getting overwhelmed. Even if you do manage it stayon for a while, it takes like 15-30 minutes for items you unlocked to "appear" and half the time your progression tracking is devoid of any data.

I also had to stay up pretty late so the traffic was lower.... During prime-time I was getting tossed IF I could find a server with which to connect.

No, this particular issue *is not* Punkbuster related.

It's account-related, and it seems only certain accounts are affected (I'm one of them.) They're working on it.

None of my unlocks are working either, and when I *am* able to get in-game, text chat does not work. It's something they did overnight, because everything was working for me yesterday.

I played a match last night and I certainly felt like a noob lol...I think at the end I had 3 kills and 10 deaths...damn snipers were messing my day up!Renevent42

if it is a PB issue, and you use steam, it is likely the steam ingame overlay issue, PB sees it as a 3rd party intrution program, yry disable the ingame overlay fhrough the steam options, and see if you still get booted.
