So I just got a nice MSI GX620 gaming laptop today. Everytime I unplug it from the power I seem to lose a lot of the power it had. Not battery life but I go to play WoW without it plugged into the wall and I get to 7FPS. But when plugged in I get 60-75. I have my battery set for High Performance when plugged in the wall and when running on battery. Unless I'm missing something how can this be fixed?

Thanks.

Have you tried the "ECO Quick Launch Touch Sensor?" According to the MSI spec page this selects between different power management options which might be overriding the Windows settings.

Look in your bios to make sure that it's not setup to downclock when unplugged....

it will downclock the GPU and CPU so the battery lasts a while when un plugged. if you ran everything MAX the battery would last an hour maby while gaming.

I turn the ECO button on to Gaming mode while on the battery and nothing happens. I get a worse FPS in WoW. The only game that messes up with know wall plug in. What else can I try to do?

None of that seemed to work... The ECO button did nothing. And all games are doing this. So how do I make everything not downclock itself. I just want it to reman the same as when I have it plugged in. I know battery life won't last as much but thats fine.

It should be under advanced power plan options in Windows.
