I love empire building-RTS games.

Something about controlling an empire and it's troops killing other empires makes me feel happy. I think it's my favorite game genre and why I play PC games.

Any and all of the total war games
King Arthur Role Playing War game
Rise of Nations
AI Wars
Sins of a Solar Empire (to some degree)
Sword of the Stars

Ummm if you're willing to branch out a bit maybe try some games like Civilization IV, Hearts of Iron III, Europa Universalis III and maybe even the X series (X2: The Threat, X3: The reunion, X3: Terran Conflict etc etc)
