i bought a psu and 460 gt from new egg yesterday waiting on them to get here and i didnt even think about the connecter in my computer and i was wondering if anybody could help me i can show you the psu i got

You need to be more specific. What connector are you talking about? The main 24-pin that connects to the motherboard? The 8-pin connector for the CPU? Or the 6-pin power connector for the video card?

You got the corsair psu right? then it will plug in everything you need.

All the cables? You need the 24-pin, the long fat cable as a main source of power, then the the 8-pin which powers the CPU and VRM's, then you need 2 six-pins for the GPU, and enough SATA and molex cables to plug up the HDD's and fans and DVD/Blu-Ray burners.

No, doesn't look like it. Your 460 will take 2 connectors, and your PSU has 2 so that is fine. BTW, one of those connectors is an 8-pin, but is still will work like a six-pin.
