I need a new PC game to play on my new rig

I've been skipping a lot of games mainly of work and school. The games I have currently are:

Supcom

STALKER

Faces of War (Don't waste your money, it gets annoying)

Company of Heroes

HL2

DOOM3

Rome Total War

Anno 1701 (GREAT GAME)

And I will be getting Bioshock

I'm not going to mention the older stuff I have. I also got Oblivion for 360 already, so don't mention it.

I dont like racers, with the exception of BurnOut.

try rainbow six:vegas, its lots of fun, especially on realistic mode.

Fear maybe? Its not as intensive as some of those youve mentioned, still a kick ass game tho.

Lost planet is a game that doesnt do everything right, but what it does to right it does spectacularly. The environments and the bigger akrids and the mechs are awesome.

c&c 3 is fairly basic, compared to coh and supcom, but it looks really nice, has good big explosions and stuff. Its simplicity makes it pretty fun and easy to get into.

I assume your system is decent, so you should get G.R.A.W 2 its a great game, i don't know why it got such a low score.OKickenwingO

I tried the demo on the 360, it was just terrible trying to memorize how to work everything. How is it on PC?

And I didn't like R6V because it was just everyone in crouch mode moving around dark places slowly shooting. I was too used to GeOW lol.

The PC version is different. If anything, it's probably more complex than the 360 version. There's a demo for it but if you thought the 360 version was kinda complex, then you may not like the PC version any better.

BioShock is coming out on Tuesday! Have you been following it? It looks like it'll be a great game. I recommend that one. Good luck and enjoy your new PC, mang.

Yeah, I'm defintely getting Bioshock, the demo on 360 was amazing. But i'll probably get it on 360 just because, well I like playing it on a big TV with a controller :-)

Btw the jump from an FX5200XT to an 8800 GTS 640 OCed is amazing to say the least lol

All right. And I see you already mentioned in your first postthat you will get BioShock, so I shouldn't have recommended that game in the first place. Hmm...I can't think of any new games to recommend. I've been playing older ones like Planescape: Torment & Manghunt.

What are you talking about? This year is probably one of the most insane years ever for PC gaming.

Also, when it comes out, World in Conflict. No other RTS is better.mo0ksi

they fixed lost planet single player with a patch or two i think.

pc gaming hasnt gone dry. The list you mentioned already contained most of the recent good games, theres not much more to reccomend that will use your pc to the same extent. If you want more different stuff, look at older games.

In that sense, if you want something different and kind of stupid but a heck of a lot of fun, get yourself some lego starwars.

But, if you want more stuff to use your pc to its fullest, youve only got a few days to wait for bioshock, and theres crysis, cod 4, upgrades to coh and supcom, assassins creed, the next half life 2 chapter and im sure tons of other sweet looking games due in the next few months. So, just be patient, like the rest of us are trying to be!
