Right now my rig looks like this.

Windows Vista Ultimate x64.

AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+, ~2.2GHz

4GB's of Ram.

DirectX 11 (if that matters).

NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT

I want a new graphics card and at least a dual core processor. A quad would be nice.

My budget is about $250's.

I want to run games like RE5, Crysis, at Highest Settings. If not highest, pretty darn close.

Someone help me?

Might I add that on my current rig I used to have an AMD Athlon 64 x2 but I didn't have enough cooling fans to support it.

I now have more than enough fans but the old processor got burnt out.

The Toledo core X2 is the best CPU that you can get for your motherboard. Considering the price, you could get an AM3 setup for cheaper. The new ones on eBay for $60 aren't really Toledo core X2's btw, but they'll work. They have less cache...
