I need another game similar to Fable

In what sense similar?

There isnt many, Lionhead make quite unique games, Fable 2 is due out on the 360 this year.

i think the main element you're leaving out is the real-time fighting. none of that "hidden dice" chance stuff or turn based fighting.

as far as your question...i think the best one that i can think of off the top of my head is Oblivion. not 3rd person (although i think you can make it 3rd person) but has all the other elements you listed.

ummm i can only think of the witcher? lol

combat mechanic, setting, ESRB rating etc is not the same i know, but like Fable it is a third person RPG, fantasy-themed, everyone plays the game as one main character (i.e. no character classes/race/gender to choose), relationships with women etc. that's all i can think of actually....

but undoubtedly, i loved fable, it was surprisingly good! i must say though, some of the spells were too powerful.

Gothic III. It has basically the same fighting system and the graphics style is almost the same. The game is only $20, but make sure to patch it before you play it becauset then you will have serious issues.

For me oblivion was about as close to fable as it gets. I know its not the same type exactly, but its a safe bet. Great game, but the whole oblivion part sucks.harrisi17

I can't say that I agree with the first part, but oblivion is an excellent game. For me it didn't live up to the 200 hours of gameplay that everyone said it had. I beat it in 95hours on XBOX 360 and I did all of the sidequests and got all the armor and weapons. I would immagine with the expansions that it would be around 140 hours. I think i'm going to replay Oblivion and then buy the expansions.
