I am considering getting a new laptop. I want it to be an Alienware and I want to be able to play new games moderately well. My budget right now is minimal, and I was wondering: What are some basic specs that I should get on my new laptop so that it works well but doesn't cost too much?
that is a good laptop for gaming. personally 2g is too much for a computer. you could spend $800 on a desktop and would be better than the laptop. but if you want a laptop adn have the money, that is a good choice. just know that laptops are not too future proof and typically cannot be upgraded

Yeah, but I am desperate for money. Within a month or two, I'll probably have about $1,000 to spend. I'm going to try to change the specs and make the laptop cheaper, but it will still cost me a lot... I'm going to end up in a cycle. As soon as I get a PC, I'll have to start saving up for a new one, etc. At least until I can get a job... (I'm 14).
