Okay, so I've become disturbed at the fact that Company of Heroes (great game) is very hard to run, I've gotten it recently. My comp can barely run it. I'm able to run FEAR and Battlefield 2 okay, but I really feel the need to upgrade so I don't have to experience the game with crap graphics.

I have: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.66GHz     512MB RAM

             NVIDIA GeForce 6200    Integrated RAMDAC

The probably I think I have though is I want more RAM, but the type I think I have makes it way to expensive to upgrade it.

Come on think again. You must be joking. You should really get a new pc, if you want to play this or last years games. The pc that you own or making an empty thread about, tells us how much of a pc gamer you are. If you want to be the one, then 200 backs wont save you, you will need 1000 at least.

Another 512MB of DDR ram should cost you about £30, maybe less. However, a GeForce 6200 sounds like a very weak graphics card tbh. You must be playing F.E.A.R at low settings. If you want to get the most out of that setup, you really need to get a decent graphics card. Something around £90 would be good. Anything more would be too bottlenecked by the CPU to justify the purchase. Then, you need to add some RAM. You need 1GB to be able to play comfortably in modern games. You should check your motherboard manufacturer's site to see what CPU's it supports and you can then work out whether you can upgrade to a better CPU. The P4 3.2Ghz is very affordable now, coming in at roughly £50 but you have to prioritise - 1. Graphics 2. RAM 3. CPU (seeing as you are a gamer)

For the graphics card, get a Geforce 7600GS or a Geforce 7600GT. They are good and perform well for the money.

I am going to trough up, 7600 GS, 7600 GT. I have no idea how poor the people are in US, but if you have got a job or under education working, you can afford a decent pc system. This topic is fun.

He said he was going to throw up. Then he was going on about how the guy should be bale to afford 'decent' parts, if he had a job.

back to th point. i would say get a new PC, if you looking to be gaming with your PC i suggest a new PC, whilst increasing ram may help this will have veryvery limited effects seeing that you graphics card and CPU r weak. im not sure but if your graphics card is integrated dosn't this mean that you cannot upgrade it. spend around $1000 if you really want to be set for the next 3 years or $700 to be alrite for the next year and half ish, and make sure you new PC doesn't have intergrated graphics so you install better cards when they come out.
