I need help with my sound it stutters in some games and i have no idea how/where

Hi all it's strange I have a pretty good computer I can run crysis war head at full setting's & dowII at full settings and have no problems with my sound. However I just picked up Empire at war and when ever there is a cut scene I constnatly get stuttering in the CGI parts does anybody know how I can get this problem fixed or where I can go to find out at least whats causing the problem

If I remember right(about 75% chance) Empire runs all cutscenes directly from HDD. If your computer is doing anything else then it might lag the sound slightly.

Check that there are not background tasks like limewire, deamon tools running or others. These could interfere with playing back from disk.
