I have a problem...

My vice city isn't working because of the resolution and I don't know how to change it.

When I start the game then I can't see anything just hear the sound...

Are there any other ways to change it except in the options menu in the game??

the only way to change it is in the options in the main menu or in the menu in game. Just go to options then video or graphics and go to resolution and lower it or higher it. But if that doesnt help I dont know what to do.

there might be a way to change the resolution outside of the game...

if not then i would just reinstall.

Strange.. if you install a patch does it change the resoloution back to the default? Also if you uninstall the game and then install it again then it should work fine.

I dunno if this will help, but you can try:

Right click the game .exe or the shortcut.

Left click Properties.

Select the Compatability tab.

Check the Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution box.

I just tried it with a few games and it seems like the ingame resolution supersedes the setting... but it may help.
