Would Crysis Be able to run on a mac that has these specs.... you help is greatly appreciated.

1GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 1x1GB

500GB Serial ATA Drive

SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)

2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB memory

I dont know if it supports mac but if it does you would barley play on low with frame loss

even if i had like 3 gigs of ram? you dont think i could run at medium setting in Bootcamp

D??N so basically i will barley be able to run it atlow thats messed up.. I wonder tho if i ran it a Low would it be comparable to console Grade Graphics

Its worth fooling around with. I had fun with it even when i had a 7800gs card on low graphics. It is kinda comparable to console on low but i ran at least smooth on low. im not sure if yours would be smooth even on low. I would download the demo and see if you can run it. Thats what there for.

Its worth fooling around with. I had fun with it even when i had a 7800gs card on low graphics. It is kinda comparable to console on low but i ran at least smooth on low. im not sure if yours would be smooth even on low. I would download the demo and see if you can run it. Thats what there for.incubus_1_7

true that i feel ya ill just download the demo... cause if i can play it on Low i will have no probs knowing that im not playing Crysis at full capacity if i wanted to run it a high i would just build a comp and have sli 8800 GTX but i want a mac first for other reasons, such as music editing and such.

That is such a common misconception that macs are better for editing. Especially one with like yours. You didtn get the MacPro, which is the "workstation" type with FB-DIMM's and other specs made for audio and video compiling.

The game may be playable, but I doubt you'll be able to play with the shadow on medium, that just kills the fps.
