yeah, i'm sorry, a graphics overhaul isn't the only thing you need. scrap what you've got and build a new one.

if you are looking for cheap and already have a monitor, newegg is selling restored hp's with a triple core processor, 3 gigs ram, 640 gig hard drive for 350 after rebate. buy that and toss in a new video card and you're on the right track. though i didn't look carefully, make sure an 8800 would fit in it.

You can if you have a pcie slot. But, still not worth it. Unless your only wanting to play older games.

Although I wouldnt mind playing games like oblivion and the all the crazes but I just want some decent hardware , where I can play World of warcraft with everything on high and around 30-50 or 40 fps.

you need a new processor, 4 times as much ram, a video card your mobo probably doesn't support...

well if you want to run anything new at decent setting you will need a new cpu and ram as well.

basicly a new mob, cpu, ram and hdd will be needed. you could run some older games if you got a 8600gt and got another gig of ram

While everyone else is recommending you get a new PC or upgrade the mobo, ram, cpu, and hdd, if you have a PCI-e 16x slot available, you can install a PCI-e graphics card and get better performance without going broke. Any Radeon HD 3850 card will get you further than where you are at now. I couldn't tell from your screen shot if your system does have an available PCI-e 16x slot. If it does not, then you would definitely need a mobo, ram, cpu, and video card at minimum. When I purchased my Compaq Presario PC, I made sure that it had features I could upgrade to increase performance and it absolutely essential to have a PCI-e 16X slot for video card upgrades.

hmm... PCI-e 16X slot.. well it says

Slot Type: PCI express

Data Bus Width: 32-bit

Heres a screeny of SMBIOS : http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e80/ezonx/Untitledjpg90.jpg

Thank you for all your help everyone, but unfortunatly im a poor gamer  and the only thing I can currently think of is getting 2x 2GB RAM sticks - and probably a video card, but I dont know which one, so can u folks point me in the right direction :) please.
