That cost $720? It's not going to run anything well... The link doesn't show anything and you'd be better off if you can by building your own.

For $720 you should be able to pull off a mid range gamer. Do you have any parts you can reuse?

That video card isn't for gaming. I'd suggest a 8600GT at the least. Other than that it looks pretty good.

With that budget, you are better off going with an AMD CPU and getting a better video card.

Bring the processor down to an E6320, or something similar, and go for an 8600 GTS.

Then get a Sapphire GDDR3 2600XT. It should perform like a 8600GT when the new drivers get released soon.

go for amd 4000x2-5200x2, 2gb ram 7900gs/x1950pro, that should run crysis on med fine and is less than $720. If you can stretch it get a 8800gts 320, take the cheaper cpu if needed since the gpu is far more imnportant in games.

no get an amd much better value in the low end. intel e2140 cost more than a 4000+x2 and isn't better and a e6320 = somewhere between amd 5600x2 and 6000+x2 and isn't as fast as those. don't tell him to thow money where it isn't needed. the gpu is where the money should go for gaming

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000 $69

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103774

GIGABYTE GA-MA69GM-S2H Socket AM2 $77

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130068

ram 1gb x2 $70

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146580

SAPPHIRE 100176L Radeon X1950PRO $137

Thermaltake W0093RU ATX 12V 2.0 Version 500W Power Supply $80

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153028

so there $433 for a system that will run new games pretty good, I take it you have a case and windows.

I would recomened getting the PNY VCG88GTS32XPB GeForce 8800GTS 320MB for $280 as it can run dx10 and is much faster than the x1950pro and it would still only cost you $576

That looks nice. My only concern is that I think that the AMD processor and mobo wont last me very long, that is why I considered intel. I will look into that, because that looks like an awesome deal...Wil it run Crysis on high with2x aa do you think? (This is with the 8800 of course)

Another question: Will that mobo (or any other current mobo for that matter) be able to use an EIDE hard drive from Western Digital? I really need an answer to this because I bought an HD a lil while ago and am wondering if I should return it...

You can use the boot disk from your old PC, which should include Windows, to install the operating system on your new PC. If you need additional help selecting components, I am currently building a PC Building Guide that you might find useful here. Best of luck with your PC.
