8800GT is more than enough for current PC games, it can max out almost anything with AA at a high resolution, it's old and not that powerful compared to recent cards but it's still good for another year. If you want a casual game try HAWX, it also has a demo, IL-2 is one of the best but it's pretty old.

A 9800GT is a rebadged 8800GT. Literally no difference other than what nVidia calls it.

The 9800GT runs cooler and overclocks a little better though

Do not buy Wings of Prey what ever you do!! They left out coop multiplayer on purpose so they could include it in their expansion pack to make more money! I Know of 10 people who have now uninstalled this game including myself. Play IL-2 if you want a good Air Combat game. It is older but still nothing can compare to it in features and overall fun factor! I will be avoiding anything produced by Gaijin in the future.

What's the point of uninstalling if you already bought the game? And coop hardly matters to most PC gamers (including me). The OP wants newer titles for testing his rig, IL-2 hardly stresses hardware.
