ok firstly TURN OFF CAPS, secondly, You can take out the HDD drive or Optical Drive that blocking it from going in and just wedge it in ther. Pretty easy, really.

First calm down and don't yell lol

Is it too large to close the case oryou can't get it in because of the hard drive bay?

You can :

A) Return it and get a smaller one
B) Remove everything inside your case and unscrew/cut (with a metal saw) the parts which are in the way

YES ok I totally agree, GTS250 is cheaper, uses less power, smaller, and offers a SLIGHT performance increase. It'll easily fit in any normal sized case. If you can return it please do, you'll get better value out of the GTS 250.

What kind of case do you have? can you post a picture? I don't think it's a normal ATX case or it would fit.

If you feel comfortable with it, you can buy a bigger case.

no no! dont buy another case yoyu've spent enough for graphics card and power supply ight. yo just try to take out the optical or HDD drive thats blocking the card from fitting, then remove it, and angle the card in.

That's assuming the OP can move or remove those items. If it's a micro-ATX board and case, the 9800GTX might simply be just too big for it
