Hey guys,

I have roughly about $1500 Australian dollars to spend on a pc.

Basically I'd be using it to paint with photoshop (with lots of layers and at high resolutions) and also to play games, it doesn't need to be a super machine (obviously, given the price range) but I'd like it to have some decent specs.

I really have no idea about the current range of processors or motherboards and that's where I need help, I've found this website which can build a computer for me and has all the Australian prices for (I assume) any part I'd need to get a decent rig.

I'm reaching out here, I'd be so grateful for any help.

would you be willing to build a computer yourself? It's really a snap, and you save tons of money. If you say yes, i can help set you up with a system, but you'll need to wait till tommorow, as this is my last post for today. But i'll wait to see what you say :)

Hey man I definitely suggest building it yourself, if you haven't done it before it isn't as scary as it sounds. Umm, if you can find me a site of a local parts website I can build you one.

ok, i agree with keiblerfan, if you find us a Australian website, like newegg.com, then we can build you a good computer and i checked the exchange rates, idk if parts are more expensive down there but 1500 au $ is roughly ~ 1,130 us $ so i could find some parts and give you a list, but it would be better if we could use an actual Australian site

Doesn't the website I linked to help? Hmm.. I think I still might use them because they only charge $50 for building it in the store and they run it for a day to test if everything is in working order.
When I wrote "build a PC" I intended it to mean.. like find each individual part because that's where I'm clueless as to which RAM to use etc. I'm essentially just asking for recomendations for PC Parts and unless I find an easier way to do it I'll use centrecom.com.au to build it for me.
