I think I have superpowers (serious)

I was studying for my exam, sitting down on my seat and then BAM, the computer behind me turned on without me even touching it.....wtf

This has happened about 3 times before with my computer, this time it was with my dad's. WTF

Is there some sort of explanation why the PCs boot themselves or do I infact possess superpowers?

lol do you have a cat or something? It might've brushed up against the button (some are pretty sensitive).  Otherwise, I'd say that you only POSSIBLY have powers, becuz apparently wut happened wasn't voluntary.  If you had WANTED the PC to come on, then u'd DEFINITELy have f'ing superpowers, and the world would be a better place for it.  But that's not the case.

No no it was just me in the room. I cannot control this power guys! After this peculiar event I tried to turn the computer on again by focusing on it but failed :(

Sometimes when I go to sleep and I wake up I see my computer has restarted itself.. and EVERYTIME it says it has been updated!! I have like supa powahs to update computers when im near them or something!!darkfox101

We can combine our forces! I can turn computers on and you can update them, WITHOUT TOUCHING THEM. 8) 

Im sure we can find a way to make that useful.......

Funny, i have a similar issue, i don't start computers but technology tend to fail when im around (no kidding). A good example is that one of my friend computer never crash, unless im standing near it then it start crashing for no reason. I had a major hardware problem that happened with my computer not so long ago so the same day i decided to play my snes while waiting for replacement parts to ship. Problem is, about 10 minutes after i started playing, the damn thing shut down and now is broken as well...Cenerune

There is a well-documented [still] un-solved case regarding a woman in Germany ( I believe in the sixties or seventies or something ) who caused lights to break and other strange electrical anomalies to manifest in her place of work... creepy, but at the same time, kinda cool...67gt500

......you lucky person...I wish i had that power. I thought i had the power to turn on my Tv with my mind. I was asleep and then the TV turned on by itself. I woke up and it was on comedy central. It happened to me about 16 times until i realized that the battery in my remote was low, and kept causing the remote to short circut and send signals to the TV. LOLpainguy1

Anyway, its not a superpowr. And even if it is, its a suckish one. 

I'm thinking either the power switches on your and your dad's computer's PSU are messed up, or there's something up with your house's electricity.
