Nope, you saved over your old files which means they are gone. MAYBE if you do a rollback or w/e like a month or so before you did it, they will be there, but you will loose your new current files.

You can easily have multiple saves, but there is only one Autosave and one Quicksave, each. So if you had manually saved from time to time, you're fine. If you relied totally on auto/quicksaves, your character might be lost. Well, maybe. The game also makes .BAK files of your saves from time to time, I believe. So if you go into your profile folder and find quicksave.bak and autosave.bak, you can rename them to .ess (I think?) files it will revert them to the previous version. If it made a backup of your new character over the old .bak, you're just totally screwed.

That's why I create a save for the quicksave before starting a new character.

The point of quiksave is that you can't have more than one quiksave file. It is only meant to augment using regular saves, not to replace it... I would have though this was common knowledge.

This is what I've always hated about Bethesda (aside from their ton of bugs). Why can't they just put profiles, that way new char? Make a new profile so you wouldn't risk saving over another char and you won't have to scroll ALL tose saves just to find the char you feel like playing.
