I want to try new a new genre of games

I want to try new genre of games. Ive been playing alot of FPS,Rpg's lately such as Fallout 3 and Skyrim. Ive not finished either but i am well on the way in fallout 3. I ust to just play single player FPS and 3rd person games such as dead space, Bat Man AA etc. I was thinking of getting a RTS game and was thinking of Star Craft 2 but i didnt realy like command and conqure games all that much but i did play them. Will i like StarCraft 2 or what RTS or genre of game should i play next?.

Not sure, C&C is my favorite RTS series. And I have played a lot. So it really depends on what you don't like about those games, that will determine if RTS is even your sort of thing.

Here is one I would recommend you try. It looks good, and is very cheap, and runs very well, and can be pretty indepth.

I didn't like command and conquer, but i love the dawn of war franchise for RTS.

You might try a turn-based strategy too like Civilization5 or Galactic Civilization 2 (civ in space).
