Today i purchased the G5 mouse and i was wondering for the people who own the mouse, how much you put into the weight slot. I was wondering what weight you feel is best for gaming and moving the mouse quickly left and right. Thank you for all your valid opinion in advance:D

I just use one 4.5g in the cartridge. Used to have none in there for the longest time.

On my G5, I use 4x 1.7g in the center and 4x 4.5 on each corner. My MS Sidwinder mouse has two 10g weights in the center and nothing on the outer block. For me, between the two the G5 has a better weight system but the Sidewinder just feels better as it sits much higher at the rear.

I just got the G9 today. Played a round with the maximum weight of 28g added, then 15g, then a round with no weights and the tray that holds them removed. Couldn't feel much difference. I think I'll use no weights though, use very low sens in all my games so move the mouse a lot, lighter seems easier in theory.

I have 2x4g and 2x7g (22g) in my G9. I admit, I thought it was sorta stupid until I tried them, but I prefer the mouse semi-weighted down, I would not like 4x7g though.

I showed my buddy, and he thought I was crazy, he liked it much better without the weights, just goes to show, different strokes..........
