Does anyone think that the i7 and ddr3 will drop dramastically taking place ddr2 in the next 1-3 months.

No! Intel are releasing the i5 which is going to be for the mainstream so dont expect a noteworthy i7 price drop anytime soon.

Yeah, it will just be a slightly less powerful i7 CPU also it will only support dual channel instead of triple channel.

What's funny is the i5 i've seen OCed and benched actually scored higher than a similarly clocked i7.

same... Im gonna wait ages...The rig in my current signature is never gonna get build Im looking at a budget laptop to see my through till i see it worth while upgrade to an i series CPU
