I have had the chance to assemble an MSI x58 pro and it had incredibly bad IOH temps. There were some problems with it that proved disappointing, but it runs ok. I don't know about the Evga. I love my Gigabyte EX58-UD3R. Both SLI and Crossfire capable. However, if you get the motherboard I have I would also make sure to get the 2 GB x 3 for 6 GB. I would also say that is the route you should take anyway and just go get 6 GB for about $70 or less.

In the particular one I assembled, the chipset temps/IOH were out through the roof. It seems to be a common problem with that particular board.

I did and I am not disappointed. You can go with the EVGA one, but how expensive is it?
