I can't believe they're releasing Fable III to pc without releasing Fable II first. I thought you could import your character from Fable II to Fable III and get extra benefits, will pc gamers miss out on that? So is Fable II coming or not? I haven't found anything online that suggests that it will. :S
No Fable 2 is not going to come to the PC, hell at this point there is some "question" as to whether Fable 3 will even make it to the PC. Since MS's initial announcement all we have heard is that it has been "delayed" we haven't seen diddly squat of anything Fable 3 related PC wise. The press releases from MS still indicate that they will bring Fable 3 to the PC but there is no way on this planet will you see a 2 year old game like Fable 2 coming to the PC.
Unfortunately no, the only Fable game worth playing will never be on the PC. It sucks, but we at least have the okay-ish Fable. And soon the "it's a good game apart from the interface being one of the worst in existence" Fable 3.

If that is what hes saying then I totalyl dissagree, I couldn't stand Fable2. Ruined a decent series imo.

Yes. Fable 1 was okay, but lacked much depth in any part of the game. Fable 2 added some of that depth and added a lot of features originally promised for the first game and also had a pretty good story (unlike 1). Fable 3 removed some of these features and ruined the interface completely, making the game waaay more tedious to play.
Fable 3 from what ive played is a little better and somewhat enjoyable like Fable1, but nothing to special.
Stay away frmo Fable2 like the plague, I still have the xbox version here looking at me, laughing that I bought a copy of the trash.

Agreed. Fable 2 was terrible. I actually liked Fable 1. The series has gone downhill since and from the looks of things Fable 3 didn't do much to redeem itself. I'll buy Fable 3 PC version just out of curiosity but I'm going in with very low expectations just to save myself from insanity.
Why get number two when you can get three? :O. Plus they're not exactly linked story wise so I personally think it's best to rather have the third game where everything SHOULD be more improved.

Because in the third game everything ISN'T improved. Pretty much all the RPG elements are toned down/removed, the interface is HORRIBLE and encourages tedious repetition (before in Fable 2 you could "Befriend" groups of people at a time. In Fable 3 you need to do it ONE BY ONE. For MORE people than the second game. Also, they removed almost all menus and put them into a terrible little place you need to teleport to, breaking the flow of the game and consuming waaay more time than a menu would without adding any extra functionality.)
Maybe I'm just easily impressed but I enjoyed every Fable game. It's true that they each have their share of problems, but a lot of people are just nit picking the hell out of them.

True, which means naturally as time progresses, we can assume that it'll go something like this: Fable 1: Melee weapons (Swords, maces) Fable 2: Muskets and other guns Fable 3: WMDs and heat seeking missiles. Its just evolution. :P

I actually watched gameplay videos and reviews of Fable 3 and it looks like utter crapness....

I dont care anyway personally, I did enjoy Fable 1 but the second and third game got pretty mediocre reviews and im fed up of having to wait for sloppy seconds when it comes to Microsoft.

Mediocre reviews? Fable 2's metacritic score is 89, and Fable 3's is 80. If that is "Mediocre" to you then you have ridiculously high standards.

My thoughts exactly, honestly some of my favorite games are in the 70s, most are actually.
