The processor is a bit lacking, just a bit...

Ram is really slow, get some PC 6400.

With a 8800gts yeah you can max it out.

Any core 2 duo is better, and they are really cheap these days.

DDR 2 is becoming the standard, you want 800 mhz, not 400 mhz.

yeah get at least PC5400, but 6400 is at the sweet spot now. Id upgrade ur ram last though,Justdisabletheonboardgraphics get a good graphics card after Crysis comes out, see the benchmarks in DX9 and DX10 mode and by then theres going to be a refresh in the market.

The AMD is not too bad for the money, but that one has integrated graphics.... If you want to upgrade the video card make sure the motherboard has a PCI-express slot otherwise you won't be able to.

That computer has integrated graphics.... If you want to upgrade it make sure it has a PCI-express slot for a fast graphics card.

This is a HARDWARE thread. It belongs in the hardware forum. And this writer already had crossposted in that forum, so besides one thread here, and now a duplicate, he just loves breaking the forum's rules, it seems!

CPU is a bit lacking as ElectricNZ said, i never really liked the 64-X2s the 64-FXs work a lot better in my opinion. You're going to need a new GPU, a Geforce Series 8 I'd recommend over the new DX10 ATIs out. And the RAM is really slow, you want PC2 6400, 800mhz RAM

edit: woops didn't see this was another "can this system run crysis maxed?" thread from the very bottom of your post. My gut says probably not because your processors are on the slow side. Also, this realy belongs in the hardware forum.
