Right now, my core clock is set at 713, while the memory clock is at 1260. If I raised the core to 730, and the memory clock to 1300, would I see a noticeable difference while gaming?

Not at all to small of an overclock to notice a difference need at least %10 to see a difference i have my core overclocked to 960 from 800mhz and memory from 1200 to 1320mhz and don't really notice much of a difference just keep it there since I can.

It wont be noticeable and will stress your gpu for no reason, like user above said, need at least 10%+ overclock to benefit from anything. See the gtx 260 in my sig, those clocks would give you a decent performance jump, otherwise theres really no point.

Hm .. Alright. Thanks.

It's fine for now anyway, as my GFX card does just fine for every game I put it at.

Remember, if you do implement that, make sure it operates at a decent temperature. My last rig came factory overclocked and was super tempermental and hypersensitive to temperature fluctuations.

Run a fan on it as an added precaution.

My card came factory overclocked, as well. The FTW edition, which was the fastest GTX 275 eVGA had to offer back then. I leave my fan set at 65% when I'm not playing any games, and somewhere between 70% to 80% when I do. The highest I've seen my temps. hit is about 79 degrees, and that was while playing Crysis, of course.
