umm under 1000 Canadian.
i live in canada
yea its gotta be a laptop, but doesnt need to be like crysis running, just some games i can play in spare time
you can't find much for 1000 if you expect some gaming chops, you might have to drop twice that amount at leastKoralan

yes. actually... a 1k lappy can play bf1942 on the absolutely lowest settings, granted you are okay with 10-20 frames per second.

and if your wondering what a $900 ($1000 if you dont have an os, $1200 if you dont have a monitor or os like me) desktop can do, look up "crysis $900 pc" at gametrailers, watch the video, and look at the description. a $900 comp can run crysis on med-high settings well above 30 frames per sec.

Check these out.comstrikeiscooli know you were trying to help but ibuypower and cyberpower are some of the worse's places to buy electronics they have very very poor customer service, very high DOA rates, pathic resell ratings, and a pretty tarnished reputation for being mediocore theres a reason for those low prices
