I'm pretty sure about the CPU and GPU, but I'm not sure about the motherboard. I know it's a good one, but maybe I can get the same chipset for cheaper? Basically, I am looking to spend under $800. I need RAID 0 for sure and I don't intend on using SLI or Crossfire.

DDR2 800 memory seems to be the cheapest, but would I really notice a difference if I went with 1033 or 1200? I don't need DDR3 either. With the list below, please let me know if I can go cheaper to get the same performance or if there is a bottleneck in the system.

I already have an old case that I can use for now, but I would like to find a case under $80 that is good and not too much of a pain to lug around. I don't plan on moving my PC much, but I would like to go to a LAN party or tournament a couple of times in the future or maybe even move it downstairs and hook it up to my TV every once in awhile. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

If this is for gaming spend less on your Mobo, CPU and only get 2GB's RAM, then put the saved money towards a better graphics card. Aim for a 4870 *if possible*.

Well, I think you should try to get a better card like the HD4870 or a GTX260. You could drop the 4Gb RAM to 2Gb and get the E8400 instead of the Quad. If you want 4Gb get this instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231209

For a case maybe the Antec Three Hundred.
