So, just wanna know, what makes a GPU better in its performance? In other words, how are graphics cards getting better or what increases inside them that makes them better? That's it. Plain and simple.

Better architecture, better clock speed, more CUDA cores or stream processors. As the transistors get smaller(at 28nm now), the more they can fit on a PCB.

Yeah basically more transistors = more performance, all other things being equal.
