ill prolly feel that way in 5 years when im in college
good choice, gaming is wasteful
but its also fun, and im in high school so what else to do besides play 3 sports and gamesÂ
Sorry to say this but that just means that you're a loser without self control. Granted, sometimes i too play for 4-5 hours non-stop but that's usually as a reward to myself for working my butt off at work. So no, gaming is not a waste of time for me, it's more of a time to de-stress, have a drink, and leave my girlfriend in the other room :lol:spierdalaj666
LOL.... :)
I agree, It's more of a stress relief than anything that I quite enjoy. I'll be 30 this year, and I still can't see myself ever stopping, especially since my wife likes gaming too.
Granted, I go through peeks and valley's with my gaming habbits, all depending on my work schedule. Like said, you don't have to be 100 percent committed to being a gamer, you just need to balance it like everything else in life. For me, especially PC Gaming, has always been more than gaming and much more characterized as a life long hobby I've had since I was a kid back in the 80's, as I'm sure many other "old" heads can relate too.....(and up and coming "young" heads for that matter as well) Â :)

Youre gonna get to college and realize you have too much time on your hands, especially with a major such as Television Broadcasting (sounds like a liberal arts college).
Trust me, college doesnt take up that much of your time. Not as much as a full time job atleast. You might spend 6-10 hours at school and campus 4-5 days a week, often less. Even if all you can afford is 1-3 hours of gaming a day, I still think it is a worthwhile hobby. Sometimes I go four days without touching my PC at home (I spend nights at my school working on projects sometimes). Still, that leaves Saturday and Sunday to do homework in the morning, play games til nighttime, and then hit the town at night.
Maybe instead of going cold turkey you should just cut back on gaming a little bit. There is no reason to quit something that is both maneagable and enjoyable. Do you really think youre gonna go to school and be so busy that you wont have any time for games?
You are no Canadian.....Canadians never give up something they love....... oscar530
lol.....As an American, I love Canada, and thank God for our neighbors to the north, especially for giving us the best damn sport on the face of the earth....Hockey ftw!! Go Flyers.....well, maybe in a few years when we actually have a team again.....
I play in moderation so no need to quit here. I am working in television as a master control operator - the work is good but the hours really suck.

well actually I lved gaming 24/7 too but when i started playing guita it just doesent seem as fun so maybe you can find something really fun to do also that makes up for gaming.
can i hav ur stufSmallPower
Hahaha!
Anyway, I didn't know gaming was something that you have to quit, you can just return to it whenever you want, it's not like you'll never play a game again.

Everything comes to its end.
Your Gaming Genes are over.
But I will keep mine alive , For ever.
And will keep my life in control too :)
Unfortunately i cant manage my time efficiently lol, my friend gave me Elder Scrolls Oblivion 2 weeks ago and i have played it for 60 hours already, my priorities have sorta switch from family, school, work, friends, gaming to family, gaming, schoo, work, friends so i decide to give it up all together that way i cant finish school with a strong mark, get into some new sports and get out of the house more often during school days. lol i do party on the weekends.PineRidge
Mine is.. 'work, anythingelseIfeellikedoingatthetime' and my computer is always sitting here, so whenever I'm not doing anything else.. Here I am! Which is kinda often, lately, since I don't have a car yet
