I'm getting Resident Evil 4 for pc. Is it worth wile?

Hi All. I'm getting Resident Evil 4 for PC.

Has anyone played it and what do you think? I would like to get some feedback from you guys.

I don't've a PS 2 so i got RE 4 (Taiwan version ) for P.C . I wanted to play the game very badly so my opinion after beating the game twice 100 % ;

Pros ;

1) The character's , style , action , AI , weapons , engaging storyline , Rox . Overall , a superb game .I enjoyed the game very much.

Cons ;

1) U ought've a analog controller to play the game , keyboard and mouse control's won't help u .U can dl mouse fix but it dosen't help much .

2) The RE 4 graphics of PS 2 / G.C killed in the taiwan version .

My Judegement if u've a PS 2 / GC go for that version or u can wait for officcial UBISOFT / CAPCOM release .If u don't mind poor graphics , analog controller go for the released P.C game.

Actually, the graphics in the PC port are worse than either of those versions.

The Gamecube is still the best looking version; the PS2 version (apparently) has half of the pixels, less detailed environments and static lighting; and the PC version is just the PS2 version...without any lighting effects at all.

I meant that only that original graphics of RE 4 ( PS 2 / G.C ) are not there ( killed ) in the P.C port .The P.C graphics of the game r downgraded in the taiwan RE 4 P.C version .

I Hope its good just placed a order for it this morning. when ever i get a game that has been ported i end up feeling just a little disappointed except for obilvion.Sir-Icecold

You did!? You should have told me, I could have picked your copy up when I got mine...

Okay, I played it last night and is great! Not as good as the two console versions, from what I can understand, and it can do with a patch to improve the graphics (textures are slightly poor and the game is a bit dark).. but it plays well.
