Hey, i have narrowed it down to two graphics cards and i need to know which one is better

The Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT 512MB

OR

nVidia® GeForceTM Go 7950 GTX graphics card

the 7950 is way better but the 8700GT has DX10 but the 7950 is way better

its not way better its just a little better and id say go for the 8700M GT because it will last you longer because of direct 10 espically because you can't upgrade graphics cards on a laptop

I thought the 8700GT its pretty much a 8600GTS or is it better? If its better than a 8600GTS go for it it has DX10 and looks pretty good...

hmm ok. OR is it worth me waiting a few months until the 8800 is released? will that definitely be better than the 7950?

Yea the 8800 rapes the 7950 but I dont think the 8800s are gonna be M'd anytime soon tho.

Laptop eh? I'd expect the Go 7950GTX to be better, but the 8700M GT sounds nice... especially since the 8600M GT is a pretty good card.

exactly. its a really tough decision as they both are great. If it helps, the 7950 would be in a dell xps m1710 and the 8700m would be in a rock xtreme 770

I agree.From what I heard they perfrom roughly the same. I would go with the dx10 one then.
