I just got windows Vista and it works great on my system with an exeption of my video card. I have a intergrated NVIDIA Geforce 6150 LE Video card with 64m dedicated video and up to 350 shared memory. I'm looking for a good card that is cheap( around 100 bucks) Any suggestions? I like to watch high def videos and content on my computer and like to edit and play around with video and such. I will play games every now and then on my computer but that will be rare. I use my xbox360 for that. Thanks for the help guys.
Well I cant be sure about american prices but... I would suggest the 7600gt is perhaps around the $100 mark. If you can stretch it then I would go for the 7900gs. I dont think that you will be able to get a dx10 card for $100 any time soon though????
As muppet said, the 7600GT is the best bet. If that's slightly over budget, the X1650 PRO is less than $100 and performs well. I am currently using an X1650 PRO with Windows Vista and it is great, and the AVIVO features of ATI cards enable you to really get the most out of HD.

I think the X1650XT would be his best bet... It has better clock and more pixel pipelines than the 7900 GS and is a little cheaper... It will run games and videos great if you intend to play them at 720p...

Yeah. Really, all the cards - X1650PRO, X1650XT, 7600GT, 7900GS will work with vista well and run HD videos great. But I agree that the X1650XT has the best price/performance.
yes I was stuck between the Nvidia and ATI... I eventually opted for the 7900gs cause it saved me having to upgrade my psu. All ATI's are powerhogs compared to their nvidia counterparts http://techreport.com/reviews/2006q3/geforce-7900gs/index.x?pg=9
