Asus G73, only 1200 bucks and you get an i7 quad and an ATI Mobility Radeon 5870

ya I saw that but their are differentmodels like the X1, A1, A2

they all seem to have the same specs, whats the difference?

And would the Alienware M11x be a good idea?

The Difference is the optical drives and hard drive's the A1 has Bluray and the A2 just has a DVDRW.

QuickDEATHS

m11x with some options would be very nice. Much longer battery life than anything else for gaming but it doesn't do CPU intensive games very well.

I'm pretty sure the M11x starts out with a crap processor. you have to spend $100 I believe to get the half decent one which is the core 2 duo one. You could find much better I'm sure

you realize the G73 is 500 dollars cheaper and will perform a lot better and you get an optical drive. cause without the optical drive you have to spend an aditional 80 just to instal your game

Yeah, definitely drop the 8 gigs. I say if you want the M11x wait, apparently it is getting a Core iX ULV and nvidia optimus in june/july.
