Im looking for any type of game, id prefer it 2 be somewhat scary like half life 2, but anything will do, im just looking for the single player of the game, im thinking about farcry but im not 2 sure, iv played condemned for 360 the pc performance is not a issue as i have a up 2 date pc
Condemned is very close in scaryness to F.E.A.R. My opinionated opinion.. go with F.E.A.R., oh and grab up that Extraction Point expansion pack, it totally rocks.
Call of Cthulhu is a fun action adventure/ kinda FPS later on and creepy. F.E.A.R. is alright althought I found it more flashy and cool particle effects and not so much the best gameplay mehanics, very traditional and basic FPS.

i know that fear is totally relative and stuff, one man's horror is another's hilarity, but uh, scary like half life 2?
did you get beaten as a kid by a g-man or something?

if you want a genuinely scary game though, check out system shock 2 A-S_FM
I'm playing System Shock 2 right now and I agree, it's unbelievably intensive. It's not about monsters jumping in your face at certain places in the game, that kind of shock horror is crap, SS2 is just really, really scary all the way through.
FEAR is a great game 2 play, it's free for multiplayer. Check out tribes at TribesFTW.com see the free download? lol yeah, uh, RPGs, Guild Wars is great. Hmm, that's if you're a budget gamer. Uh Oblivion, SIms2, hold out for Unreal Tourny 2007! Those are up2date.
