X1950 Pro would be better unless you want Dx10 then you might consider the 8600GTS but it's not really a good card for Dx10. Plus, most Dx10 games up until now are...kinda crappy so you might wanna hold off for awhile, or just save a lil bit more and get the 8800GTS 320MB, the best bang for the buck.
Just get the 8600gt the x1950pro is a hot and huge card and the 8600GT is a great card for SFF cases not so much for DX10 games but is great for dx9LouieV13
well im better off witha 8600gts because it dosent lag that much like the 8600gt does..besides im not sure if the 8600gts will lag ona 1440x900? wat do u think? on moha

I would only get a 8600GTS if you wanna pay that much more for minimal performance. Trust me just get the GT the GTS isnt worth it
Nah, I find that the 8600GT and 8600GTS don't run that great in DX10 (about 20-30fps at pretty low settings). Definitely the X1950Pro. It is quite a bit faster. And if you fish out another $50, get the X1950XT. Both the X1950 Pro, and X1950 XT are better than ALL low and mid range DX10 cards.
