Im going to install my x1950pro, with 350W. the x1950 pro recommends 450W.

What are the chances of malfuntioning??

Nothing good will come out of that. It will either not turn on at all, turn on and fail, or your video card will explode. But then again, its up to you.

LOL my old old 8600GT reccomended a 600w I played it fine on a 300w... my old 7600GS reccomended a 500w ran it fine on the same 300w... how many amps does your psu have?

It will work as long as you have 20a on the +12v rail but it prolly has alot more with that wattage

Depends on the PSU, they exaggerate recommended wattage because most of the time people have POS PSUs. If it's good quality than you don't need 450W.

Depends upon how much shtuff you have hooked up to it too. Use this as a guideline. Gives you a pretty decent idea:
