Plants vs zombies has to be one of the most addictive games, I told my friend about it awhile back and he bought and he got hooked also. Trails 2 is nice and everything but unless you like a big challenge this game is really tough. I also own Trine but haven't played it yet.
Plants vs. zombies isnt an Indie game, neither are a bunch of games mentioned here. There is a difference between a low budget game and an Indie game. The Studio that makes Plants vs. Zombies is very large, and very profitable. I have no doubt that they have the neccesary funds at this point to make a rather large budget game if they really wanted to.
Not that it matters, but im just pointing it out.
The Path but I recommend you to try the demo first.thusaha
Isn't that like a 5 minute game? Why would you bother playing a demo for that.

I've put at least two and a half hours into it and I know I've missed some stuff. It can be beaten quickly, but the whole point is to explore and delve into these girls' lives. It's very artsy though, and thus difficult to recommend, so that's why the demo is useful.
Anyway, lately I've been recommending Machinarium and Aquaria to everyone, so...those. Trine is also great, as is Osmos, Ben There Dan That, and others.
