Mount and Blade is a fantastic RPG.

Also, there is a game called something like AAAAAAaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! A Reckless Disregard for Gravity which looks real fun.

Seconded. It's amazing that a game with no story, or any direction really, has sucked up so much of my time. I would love to see a sequel with refined combat mechanics and seige weapons.

Plants vs zombies has to be one of the most addictive games, I told my friend about it awhile back and he bought and he got hooked also. Trails 2 is nice and everything but unless you like a big challenge this game is really tough. I also own Trine but haven't played it yet.

Plants vs. zombies isnt an Indie game, neither are a bunch of games mentioned here. There is a difference between a low budget game and an Indie game. The Studio that makes Plants vs. Zombies is very large, and very profitable. I have no doubt that they have the neccesary funds at this point to make a rather large budget game if they really wanted to.

Not that it matters, but im just pointing it out.

Isn't that like a 5 minute game? Why would you bother playing a demo for that.

it can technically be beaten in 20 seconds but that defeats the purpsoe of the game.

Been a game dev for a long time and have to say it is nice to see small indie casual games becoming a meaningful part of the scene. {old man voice} Back in the Spectrum C64 days all games were small, then the market developed and we had big triple AAA games but few small indies. Now we have developed further and indie games have gained huge acceptance - much like the film industry where you have block buster movies and small indie films. It's good for the industry and good for gamers. We don't always want to be playing big huge games. Sometimes something small and fun fits the bill.

I've put at least two and a half hours into it and I know I've missed some stuff. It can be beaten quickly, but the whole point is to explore and delve into these girls' lives. It's very artsy though, and thus difficult to recommend, so that's why the demo is useful.

Anyway, lately I've been recommending Machinarium and Aquaria to everyone, so...those. Trine is also great, as is Osmos, Ben There Dan That, and others.

This was amazing. I cant get enough! Best TD game ive EVER played. If you like adventure games I suggest Ben There, Dan That and Time Gentlemen, Please! Very humourous.
