Clearly you know much about developing video games... powerskillI'm qualified in game design, but whatever. I used both macs and pcs during this and found the macs to be hugely inferior to doing anything on a pc concerning game design (granted I focused on the visual elements of 3d animation, asset creation and 2d illustration). I'm only telling you my personal experiences with it, there's no need to try and get personal. You'd just get far more power for your cash if you went with pc is all. Power which would save you a lot of time doing renders and such.

At best you do 1% of a game, you are an idea person -- useless.

You might have also noticed I mentioned 3d animation and creating assets (models, textures, props etc.) but it goes without saying that concepts are a huge part of a games development either way. So putting being petty aside, are you a programmer? What will you be using the machine for specifically?
Of course son. Keep leaving in a dream. Fcking retard powerskillActing like that isn't going to get you any help.
And here's the main account of this alt. Good show guy, good show, if only you didn't make your alt seem like some mentally damaged paranoid freak escaped from the hospital.PC self-entitled elist group caught cyberbullying again in a video game forum.

I'm going to start a thread called " Which Alienware do I buy ? ". Then moan at everyone when they tell me Alienware fail. :D

And you're clearly a troll who started this topic for the sole purpose of baiting people into giving you responses so you can insult them. -Useless. And reported.

The programming side of it is exactly the same as PC. And the only reason you'd need a PC for the programming side of it is to use microsoft specific APIs, which you can still program on it you just can't compile and test on the same machine which in a professional environment isn't uncommon.
And also I wouldnt say never buy a mac, the macbook air is the best ultraportable out right now like it or not, overpriced or not.

Thanks for clearing that up on the programming side of things, good to know. I did ask the op if he was using it from a visual design angle or programming but... Well you can read the attempt rofl. Now I know you have mental problems. Suggesting a mac is a terrible idea is not a personal attack, but giving stupid answers to serious questions are. Then again, I bet that is how you grew up, being treated like crap... Oh right you are crap... Again, get the f out of my post with your stupid comments you idea guy, that clearly has never developed a video game. powerskill
And you clearly haven't finished the 8th grade yet. I find it hard to believe that someone this immature is a game designer/programmer...
