Right I'm not down with all this tech lingo so, I need a new graphics card or video card whatever. And since I have no way of getting to my "local" computer store I thought I'd come here for advice. Just need something that'll allow me to play games on something higher setting than low :P.

Don't want anything fancy, just something affordable, compatible and something that'll fit. Got a Nvidia GeForce G100. (Laughable, I know. But I didn't have any choice in what computer was bought.)

I'd be grateful for any advice.

Thanks.

I need to know more about your PC. Is it a pre-built (HP, Dell, etc)? If so please tell me the model number. If not I'd need to know what power supply you have and motherboard model.

Also, how does $100-140 USD sound?

Finding information about that model was dificult. Packard Bell have a terrible website :P

Anyway, turns out that your power supply is only a 250W. That means you won't be able to get even an entry level gaming card. You have to upgrade the power supply first.

So if I upgraded my power supply, I'd be able to get a better graphics card, that isn't "green"?

The problem is that your case may cause you not to be able to use a normal full sized psu. If you willing to get a normal sized case then you will be good to go. all you need to do is transfer all the parts over.

Ah, and no that wouldn't be much of a problem.

And that graphics card would be fine with my motherboard?
