OK, so I bought 2 gtx260s today. The cards are in a thick metal case thats takes up two expansion slots. The first card slides in perfectly but the second one is hitting something, I think it's a PCI slot that is close (it's right under the second slot where the video card case is).

IS there anyway to remove the case? Do I have any way of making this work or should I just return one of the cards?

You're not making any sense.

What do you mean by the cards being in a thick metal case (are you talking about theactualy PC case?)?

Do you have any pictures?

Don't take the case off.

Post your mobo model and what case you have it in.

I have the Asus P5N-D mobo and i bought two BFG GTX 260 video cards... the PC case isn't the issue, it's the case around the video card itself.

As you can see the second PCI-E slot on the motherboard is very close to the first PCI slot, the case around the video card is stopping it from seating properly...

I've been trolling the web and can't seem to find anyone else with the same issue, which leads me to believe that I am doing something wrong... It's just that this stupid PCI slot is taller than the PCI-E slot... I wish I could just break the thing off LOL

No wait, my bad.

You SHOULD be able to SLI the GTX 260's!

I had a bad brain fart--there's should be nothing stopping you in putting those to cards in that mobo.
