Limbo just released on Steam and it received rave reviews on the XBLA. Also Humble Indie Bundle 3 is on at the moment, 5 indie games for a price you set (some gems among them like Crayon Physics Deluxe and And Yet It Moves).

Eschalon is great, if you're into old-school turn-based RPGs. And then there's the Penumbra games, and I'm pretty sure that both Amnesia and Minecraft qualify as "indie" still. :)

Since we're on topic for indie games. Check out the Humble Indie Bundle # 3. Some great indie games and it's for a great cause.

Wall of recommendations incoming.

Amnesia the Dark Descent: Horror at its finest. Highly recommended

Aquaria: Amazing puzzle-esque platformer with a good story to boot.

Cthulhu Saves the World: Good throwback to old JRPGs. Can't stand this type of game myself but if you like JRPGs it is a nobrainer.

Defense Grid: Most polished tower defense and one that you can't go wrong with.

Dungeons of Dredmor: Great rogue-like that is actually accessible.

EYE Divine Cybermancy: Dark Messiah of Might and Magic with guns and weird storytelling. Highly recommended.

Killing Floor: Zombies roll over and die in some great co-op action. Highly recommended.

Magicka: Another good co-op game that has you mixing and matching elements. Doesn't take itself seriously in the least either which is great. Highly recommended.

Mount & Blade Warband: Medieval combat simulator with some RTS elements thrown in for good measure. Highly recommended.

Osmos: Cool little puzzle game.

Penumbra: Great horror games that are a no-brainer if you like Amnesia.

Recettear: You run an item shop and try to play the market in some basic economics. Dungeon crawling is thrown in to mix things up.

Sanctum: FPS tower defense.

Sol Survivor: A tower defense where you actually control orbital powers to assist the turrets in killing things.

Terraria: Castlevania mixed with Minecraft and an emphasis on exploration and combat. Highly recommended.

Trine: Physics based action platformer. Amazing artstyle. Highly recommended.

Zeno Clash: First person fighting game with an... Eccentric world.

That's it... you listed all the awesome indie games. But I came across this Steel Storm: Retribution, which is kinda good. Reminds me of Jabanese shoot-em-ups with FPS mechanics. Gotta thank the Humble Bundle! :D

Braid is an absolute must buy, it is such a great game.

Terraria is also very good.

Recettear is also a very interesting, very addictive, but very Japanese game. You'll understand by what I mean by Japanese when you play it, but its still amazing.

Magicka is good fun.

Mount and Blade Warband is epic.

Cthulhu Saves the World and Breath of Death VII are a steal on Steam. I haven't played Breath of Death VII yet (they come in a combo for only $3), but Cthulhu Saves the World was simply incredible.

theres actually a lot more in my steam library (195 total games currently lol), but those are the indie games i would recommend to anyone. the other indie games on my list i would assume not everyone would like. i gotta say, in a way, i like indie games more than alot of the mainstream games that have released this generation
