Is it true that Indigo Prophecy isn't compatible with Windows XP? Or is that the European version (Fahrenheit) that isn't XP compatible? That's just what I heard and I was thinking about getting it.

It works on XP fine, its when you try to play it on Vista that it screws around, you have to install it on an XP computer than copy it to your Vista, but its worht it, because this game is just so good

For me it worked in both XP and Vista without any problems..... is there going to be a sequal, or are the people who made it working on a new adventure game??? This had to be my favorite adventure game since Grim Fandango (classic).

You could always download the demo to see if it'll work....

Quantic Dream are now currently working on Heavy Rain, another game along the lines of Indigo Prophecy with the emphasis on cinematic gameplay.

I played Fahrenheit. Greatest game ever i think. Deep story. Just loved the whole movie feel to it. Played in when it first came out, on XP. Didn't even patch it and it all worked smooth :)

Well yeah, I thought it was a really great game too, until you realise that it's not really a game, and more of an interactive movie. There aren't really any puzzles at all, and most of the gameplay consists of tedious button mashing sequences. This game really shows how effective story and atmosphere can be.

Infact, the story and atmosphere are so great, the developers have almost seemingly slipped the gameplay away, and managed to keep the game incredibly fun and fresh. It's quite odd that, you're playing the game, and thinking you're solving all these puzzles, until you take a step back and think to yourself "Hang on, this game is incredibly easy, and I'm not actually playing because I enjoy solving them, I'm playing the game to uncover the story with the characters." It's amazing stuff.
