No he really does mean Infamy Ward: Their next game will be COD: Hotel Paranoia - A clever play on the title, Hotel California it will be a horror game inspired by that very song. You play as the different members of the band the eagles! Having lost their record label for a lousy new album they have gone into, you guessed it kids, the hotel business! The game starts off as a simulation whereby you must run a shady hotel and collect people's laundry, while also ripping people off for room service charges and those movies you supposedly watched! But then a mysterious soul who died at the Eagles concert returns to the hotel to come back and haunt the place! She turns all the people their into metal head zombies, so they all have piercings and look like they have half a hardware store on their face. Its up to their Eagles to save the day, kick some zombie ass and maybe make a new hit single!! But then...there's paranoia....are the Eagles all Zombies too!? Are these aging rockers going to turn against each other!? Never! They're from the 80s man! Weapons include: a guitar string to flick people in the eye, a record that you can throw as a ninja star...a pile of money that doubles like a hive of bees and a trumpet that fires poison darts...bosses can only be destroyed if the group joins together and sings in perfect harmony: "Welcome to the Hotel Paranoiaaaa."

HOW? You can hardly explore anything, if you are gonna be in the jungle, against the vietcong, I don't want to be blocked by a rock that I could jump over, yet some invisible barrier is blocking my way.

I don't want to stray off topic or anything, but that's also the reason why I want to see a W40k movie (preferably CGI and made by Relic after watching their intro movies to the games.) - because Sci-Fi movies (almost anything Sci-Fi) is very "bland" just like you said.
I would like a Vietman CoD-that war really needs a killer game-WW2 has theres (CoH,) and so does modern warfare (BF2, CoD4) but no Vietnam :). Plus, hardcore multiplayer in the jungle?
That would be good, id like to see a good Vietnam game.. there arn't many of them around, and there are very few that are good. A future one doesn't interest me at all.
I would like them to end the COD series with 4 but i know theres a 5th being made by another developer like the 3rd. I just personally feel that the gameplay is tired and been over done, if they made a new one with more non linear gameplay and better story then it wont be a COD game.
Future COD combat would be awesome, and I dont want a Vietnam COD because I hated the limitations of the story with COD1 and COD2. In COD4 they could modify the story however they wanted to. It would also be interesting if they came up with another war that involves Captain Price, farther back and maybe even when he was serving under Captain Macmillian. Maybe even playing with a full SAS Squad as Price with Macmillian leading. I would also love a continuation of COD4's story. *Spoilers* Although the war was wrapped up, I'm sure Infinity Ward could come up with some way to continue it.
I'd love a sci-fi game from those guys, but not something 20 yrs in the future, too boring. Try like a 1000 yrs from now with some awesome weapons that do not sound like this: "PEW, PEW!". With some imagination it could become a great game.

Like 40K, indeed. You should check out the Black Library 40K novels if you haven't already, mfsa (if you're into sci-fi novels). I think they'd be just the ticket to the type of sci-fi universe you're looking for. DoW is actually a rather tame depiction of the gore and intensity of 40K.
