Sure.
Newegg Cart
That's $1048 after taxes, BEFORE rebates and BEFORE shipping. After rebates it's $983 + shipping.
HIS HD 4890
750W PSU
790GX Motherboard
Phenom x4 955
4GB DDR3 1333MHz
NZXT Tempest
1TB drive
Samsung 22x DVD burner
If you want to add another 1TB drive for Raid 0, you'll still be way within your budget.
EDIT: I dropped the other 4890 and added a 750W Corsair power supply. (I realized the mobo runs at 8x/8x in Crossfire)
EDIT2: Under your budget and it's plenty to enough to max out every game on the market including Crysis(depending on resolution).
Just did. Also added DVD drive. That build is nice. I would remove one 4890 though to cut costs but get a crossfire supported PSU so you're covered for an upgrade. He also needs a DVD drive.

Oh, I didn't add a crossfire PSU since if he's going to upgrade he'll probably get a DX11 card.

Hey there forum, I am in need of a new computer so I am reaching out to get some help on setting one up. My budget is $1000-$1200. I am a light gamer, meaning the game I play the most is World of Warcraft but I still play some other games like cod and starcraft 2 and diablo 3 when they come out. I am not going to need a monitor, speakers, keyboard, or mouse in the build. I am going to need a bang for the buck computer preferably with windows vista with a upgrade coupon for win7. I would like to thank you in advance.insanestryker89
Well tell us where you are from?
$1000 USD is different to $1000 AUD
I am from the U.S. I am really liking the build, just need to throw in a vista os. I was also wondering (being an intel user for a long time) are the amd's the way to go, or what about the i7's?insanestryker891.) The i7 and Phenom x4 955 are very close in terms of performance, but the i7 probably costs around $150 - $200 more because i7 motherboards are more expensive and 6GB of DDR3 triple channel RAM is also expensive. AMD makes great CPUs and the Phenom x4 955 is almost top of the line from AMD. Sorry, I forgot about the OS. I'm sure you can find it and add it...
