hey, i was installing rome total war, and the power went out, and when i tried to continue instalation when it came on, it said it was already installed. so i tried to play it. it says it is not installed so i go into the system, do a search for all rome files, total war files, and then try still nothing! so does anybody know what i can do?

stick the disk back in and uninstall, then install it again

no, i already unistalled it, but the computer says it is installed, and so i cant reinstall but i cant play it either because it is not fully installed, so the game says intalation incomplete.

Did you go to add or remove programs adn its not there? Go to my C:/Program files, and find the rome total war directory and delete it.

Try a registry cleaner first, there are propably still some keys left in there. The setup program detects them and locks out, thinking it's already installed. Some freeware reg. cleaners: CCleaner, Clean My Registry, EasyCleaner
