I want to get an aftermarket cpu for my PC, but I don't want to screw anything up. Is it easy to do?

Also, will opening the system void Cyberpowerpc's warrenty? If so, is it better to void the warranty and not risk the cpu melting or keep the stock fan in it and get 52c on CoD4?

Its not difficult to do if you follow the instructions, but it can be "hard" to install because some heatsinks can require a lot, i mean A LOT, of force to get it to sit properly. Sometimes it feels like you're gonna break your CPU, but its fine. CPUs, other than the pins, are built tough. Installing an after market cooler will probably void your warranty, yes. I dont think 52c is all that high. Its not amazing, but its not bad. I would only consider upgrading the CPU cooler for the purposes of noise reduction, or if you intend to overclock. If you dont plan to do either, i dont think its worth it.

if you can screw in 4-5 screws and use a tube of paste, you can change a cpu fan

I figured it would be higher temp on games like BFBC2. When it finishes downloading I will check the temp and if its not much difference I might just forget about it. Thanks a lot for all of the information.

It depends on the cooler. To put mine on i needed a different backplate so i had to remove the whole mottherboard.
