I need to install third party raid drivers to install windows xp...but I don't have a floppy disk drive! It's very frustrating...is there anyway that I could use a usb flash drive, or anything?

Nope. That's the problem with XP - it's floppy or SOL.

You can use a tool called nlite to customize your Windows XP installation, including embedding RAID drivers to automatically load itself.

What motherboard? My ASUS motherboard documents a number of ways to install the RAID driver, including one way that it states a USB drive can be used. I tried and failed, and ended up buying and installing a floppy drive. BUT I plugged the USB drive into the front panel on that attempt. I recently found that the MB will not recoginize a USB drive plugged into the front panel (from a BIOS level), but it will recognize it when the USB drive is plugged into the rear MB panel. I discovered this when flashing the BIOS. Can't do it with a USB drive from the front panel, but works fine when plugged into the back panel. Have you attempted using a USB drive yet, or just asking before you attempt it?
